Cubieverse Rules

This page lists a subset of the rules you must abide by while playing Cubieverse. Failing to follow these rules or any other part of our Terms of Service (TOS) may result in your account being locked or terminated. Our full TOS can be found at cubieverse.com/terms.

Looking for a tutorial?

The core gameplay loop of Cubieverse is pretty simple. Here's what you need to know to get started:

Login daily and complete Walking Quests to earn keys
Explore your neighborhood to find vaults, which require keys to be unlocked
Answer the vault's trivia question correctly to earn Cubiecoins, Resources and even Cubie Blueprints

As you gain experience, there's plenty more to dive into:

Visit a Print Shop to transform Cubie Blueprints into exciting new Cubies
Use the Resources you collect to upgrade your Headquarters (HQ) and unlock new functionality
Trade Cubiecoins, Resources, Blueprints, Cubies and more in the Auction House
Redeem Cubiecoins for Gift Cards, Crystal Keys, or Digital Currencies at unique structures in Cubieverse
Build out your neighborhood in Cubieverse with Structure Blueprints and help from your local community

Accounts

One account per human - no multi-accounting allowed.
Play only on your account - no account sharing allowed.

Do not let anyone play on your behalf. That includes family members. All actions performed in-game should be done by YOU and YOU only.

You must be at least 16 years old to play (18 for players in the UK).

Photo Quests

Every so often, you will be asked to provide proof that you are not cheating. This is called a Photo Quest (PQ). Photo Quests are MANDATORY. Repeatedly failing them will result in a permanent ban.
Each Photo Quest you submit must:

show enough distinguishing features of your surrounding location for us to verify your presence there via Google Maps, or other similar tool.
clearly show YOUR hand in the picture.
be bright enough for us to see your hand AND the surrounding area.

DO NOT allow another human to submit a Photo Quest on your behalf. Any Photo Quests you submit must contain YOUR OWN hand/thumb in the picture.

GPS and Gameplay

No GPS spoofing/faking allowed.
Do not use the Auction House (AH) to transfer/gift Cubiecoins to other players.

Any AH listings that appear to be Cubiecoin transfers will be cancelled and any accounts involved will be flagged.
Accounts flagged repeatedly for Cubiecoin transfers will be banned.
Transferring Cubiecoins between multiple accounts suspected to be owned by the same person will cause all accounts involved to be banned.

Language and Behavior

Our live operations staff are valued team members. Foul language, name-calling, rudeness, and other behaviors of this nature will result in a ban for the account involved.
